Allow me to first say that I’m a long-time reader and listener of RACmonitor and Monitor Mondays, respectively, and I’m thrilled to be among so many distinguished contributors.
First, I want to acknowledge the incredible community that has been built through these platforms. For years, they have been trusted resources for healthcare compliance professionals, revenue integrity leaders, and healthcare executives trying to keep pace with a constantly changing regulatory environment.
Most of your readers and listeners already know MedLearn, but they may not know much about Panacea, so let me spend a moment introducing us and explaining why we were so excited to bring MedLearn back into the Panacea family.
Panacea Healthcare Solutions is a healthcare technology and services company focused on helping providers improve financial performance while maintaining compliance across the revenue cycle. We work with hospitals, health systems, and physician practices in areas such as revenue integrity, coding and compliance audits, strategic and defensible pricing, price transparency, reimbursement, and patient financial advocacy services.
What attracted us to MedLearn was that we saw a shared mission.
Healthcare organizations today face an incredible amount of complexity. Regulatory requirements continue to evolve. Reimbursement pressures continue to grow. Audit and denial activity remain a constant concern. Providers are being asked to do more with fewer resources.
For decades, MedLearn has helped healthcare professionals understand these challenges. Through education, webinars, publications, Monitor Mondays, and RACmonitor, ICD10monitor, and Talk Ten Tuesdays, MedLearn has become one of the most respected voices in healthcare compliance and coding.
Panacea approaches the same challenges from a different angle. We help healthcare professionals operationalize MedLearn’s educational content through software, consulting, analytics, auditing, and other services.
When we looked at MedLearn, we saw an opportunity to bring the worlds of education and operational action together.
Today, when a provider learns about a new compliance risk, a coding challenge, a reimbursement issue, or a regulatory change through MedLearn, they’re now connected to an organization that can also help them assess the impact, implement solutions, educate their teams, and improve performance.
Just as importantly, I want readers and listeners to know what hasn’t changed.
The MedLearn brand, the educational mission, the trusted experts, and the independent thought leadership that this audience values remain at the center of what makes MedLearn special. Our goal is not to change that. Our goal is to invest in it, expand it, and provide even more resources to the healthcare organizations that rely on it.
At the end of the day, we believe that healthcare providers need more than information. They need trusted guidance and practical solutions. Bringing MedLearn and Panacea together allows us to deliver both, and we’re excited about what that means for this community going forward.
We’re honored to be part of the RACmonitor and Monitor Mondays family, and look forward to continuing to serve this audience.
