Preparing for 2027: Inpatient & Outpatient Policy Changes for Case Management and Utilization Review

$279.00

Healthcare reimbursement continues to evolve at an unprecedented pace, and the changes coming in 2027 will have significant implications for hospitals, case management, utilization review, and physician advisor programs. Continued reductions to the Inpatient Only List, expanding bundled payment initiatives, changing payment methodologies, evolving payer policies, and shifting patient financial responsibilities all increase the complexity of determining the appropriate level of care while protecting reimbursement and maintaining compliance. Organizations that wait until these changes take effect risk operational disruption, inconsistent decision-making, increased denials, unnecessary appeals, and missed opportunities to prepare staff before the new rules become reality.

In this practical, forward-looking webcast, nationally recognized physician advisor Dr. Ronald Hirsch will break down both the finalized and proposed 2027 CMS changes and explain what they mean in everyday practice. Rather than simply reviewing regulations, he'll translate complex policy updates into practical guidance your team can immediately begin planning around. You'll gain a clearer understanding of how payment changes, bundled payment expansion, inpatient and outpatient policy updates, and evolving payer expectations may impact utilization review workflows, case management strategies, physician documentation, patient status decisions, and organizational financial performance. You'll leave with greater confidence to prepare your team, strengthen compliance efforts, reduce uncertainty, and proactively position your organization for success in 2027.
