What does code 94772 include when reporting a pediatric pneumogram?
Frequently used to monitor newborns in the nursery or may be requested as a home service for high risk infants with a diagnosis of apnea. The pediatric pneumogram provides a 24 hour record of ventilatory pattern, monitoring the depth and frequency of the respiration. Separate procedure codes for electromyograms, EEG, ECG, and recordings of respiration are excluded when 94772 is reported.
