When a left heart catheterization is performed with coronary artery angiography but no left ventriculogram is performed, what is the proper coding?
Answer:
A ventriculography is common, but not required. If the left heart was accessed and only pressure measurements were made, along with selective coronary angiography, the correct code would still be the following:
