Question:

When do we report 0620T?

Answer:

Understand that his code is similar to code 0505T, except a blockage in the tibial or peroneal vein is being treated instead of the SFA or popliteal artery. As with 0505T, 0620T includes ipsilateral selective arterial and venous catheterization of the treated leg, ipsilateral diagnostic imaging of the lower extremity arteries, and related imaging supervision and interpretation. Do not also report 37228–37231, 37238–37239, 37248–37249 within the tibioperoneal segment.
