For noninvasive physiologic studies when both upper and the lower extremity arteries are studied, what codes do we report?
If both the upper and the lower extremity arteries are studied, report the appropriate code 93922 or 93923 twice—once for the upper extremities and once for the lower. Modifier 59 may have to be assigned. Clarify with local payers.
