Will C9600-C9608 mirror the new or revised 2026 codes?
The HCPCS codes for DES’s (C9600-C9608), used for hospital coding, now do not mirror the new or revised codes or the logic used for coding. The user must be aware of the lack of unity between professional and hospital coding along with the coding guidelines.
