Can we report 93922 for an ABI as a stand-alone procedure?
Codes 93922 and 93923 are not reported when ONLY an ABI is performed. There is no code to report for an ABI as a stand-alone procedure, it would be considered part of any physical examination. Codes 93922, 93923, and 93924 require ABIs, as well as additional studies listed in the code definitions.
