What are the definitions for the abdominal aorta and the thoracic aorta?

Answer:

The abdominal aorta is the section of the aorta from the level of the celiac arteries to the aortic bifurcation. The thoracic aorta is the section of the aorta from the aortic valve to the aortic segment just proximal to the celiac arteries.
