What code do we report when performing lithotripsy in the tibial/peroneal or inframalleolar territories?
If performing lithotripsy in the tibial/peroneal or inframalleolar territories, the AMA symposium directed the user to report an unclassified code (37799). Note that the 2026 HCPCS codes are still active for lithotripsy (C9764-C9767, C9772-C9775) for hospital facility coding for outpatient.
