Following up on last week’s question what does 93456 actually include?
Code 93456 (right heart catheterization with coronary angiography) includes vascular access, insertion and positioning of the right heart catheter, measurement of pressures in various positions, cardiac output and oxygen saturation, removal of catheter(s), coronary angiography, closure device angiography, closure device deployment, and report generation.
