What does therapeutic drug administration include?
Answer:
Therapeutic drug administration services include antibiotic therapy for treating active infection and therapeutic drugs such as digoxin or phenytoin for treating a disease process. The administration service includes the cost of routine supplies needed for treatment, as well as the use of the facility.
