Can we report 94200 when using the forced expiratory volume (FEV1) from the spirogram to calculate an estimated MVV?
Answer:
If using the forced expiratory volume (FEV1) from the spirogram to calculate an estimated MVV, do not report code 94200. Remember, only the tests that are actually performed may be billed. Results that are calculated from other parameters are not eligible for separate reimbursement.
