What code do we report for the reassessment of the respiratory responses in infants?
Code 94799 (Unlisted pulmonary service or procedure) may be used to report the reassessment of cardio/respiratory responses of infants. When reporting an unlisted code to describe a procedure or service, it is necessary to submit supporting documentation (such as a procedure report) along with the claim to provide an adequate description of the nature, extent, and need for the procedure, as well as the time, effort, and equipment necessary to provide the service.
