Do codes 95816, 95819, and 95822 include defined time limits for routine EEG recordings?
The guidelines that accompany these codes state that the average recording time is 20–40 minutes. However, the individual codes do not include a defined time limit. The number of recording pages generated during these routine EEGs is fairly predictable.
