Question:

When coding for a split study where CPAP is applied during a polysomnography (PSG), should we report 95782 and 95783 together?

Answer:

When reporting a split study (i.e., CPAP is applied during the PSG), it is not appropriate to bill both 95782 and 95783. Report only 95783, because it is the more extensive procedure.
