Cardiology Question for the Week of April 19, 2021

Question:

Is 76377 included in 75561-are there specific circumstances that allow this to be charged and modified? We are using 3D rendering on an independent workstation for post-processing.

Answer:

If you look in the CPT® book there are notes at the cardiac MRI section and at 76377 that say you cannot code 76377 with 75561.
