Question:

Would non-selective codes be inclusive if a non-selective angiography is performed during a cardiac catheterization from the same access?

Answer:

Yes, if performing non-selective angiography during a cardiac catheterization, the non-selective codes (36200, 36140) would be inclusive in the coronary codes if performed from the same access.

36200 Introduction of catheter, aorta
36140 Introduction of needle or intracatheter, upper or lower extremity artery
