Question:

When specifically, can 76376 be used in the echocardiographic setting? Can we use this to 3D image the left atrial appendage? Do we need a specific order for the 3D?

Answer:

76376 is used when findings of a 3D imaging with image postprocessing study are documented, in addition to, the findings of the basic study. I recommend checking payor guidelines for what is considered medically necessary.
