What is the purpose of Category III code 0632T?

Answer:

Category III code 0632T may be reported for transcatheter high-frequency ultrasonic ablation of nerves innervating the pulmonary arteries. This procedure requires, and includes, right heart catheterization, pulmonary artery angiogram, and imaging guidance related to the procedure. Do not also report codes for pulmonary angiography (36013, 36014, 36015, 75741, 75743, 75746, or 93568), right heart catheterization (93451, 93456), right and left heart catheterization (93453, 93460, 93593, 93594, 93596, 93597), flow-directed catheter placement (93503), or endomyocardial biopsy (93505).
