Do not bill an IV push charge for carry-over infusion services that are not otherwise eligible for billing an additional infusion hour. For example, an infusion lasting 2 hours and 10 minutes would be billed with one unit of service for the initial hour and one unit of service for the additional hour. Do not report an IVP charge for the additional 10 minutes.
