General Question for the Week of January 9, 2023

When it comes to reporting for intraperitoneal chemotherapy, how do we code for IV push of an anti-emetic agent when it is added to the treatment plan?

When an IV push of an anti-emetic agent is added to the treatment plan, the “initial” code is 96374, and the hydration therapy is coded as a secondary service with 96361.
