Question:

What time can be used for infusion stop if patient is in the clinic and has a negative reaction requiring inpatient admission?

Answer:

If a patient’s adverse reaction causes the infusion to be discontinued and the stop time does not appear in the eMAR, then the nurse’s documented stop time in the progress note may be used.
