Question:

Can we bill 99195 separately for the nursing visit?

Answer:

Note that In some facilities, the laboratory may be responsible for initiating and managing the phlebotomy procedure. Do not bill separately for nursing visits or evaluation and management of the patient when the intent of the scheduled visit is defined by 99195.
