Answer:

The procedures described in codes 88355–88358 are also referred to as histomorphometry. The analytical method involves flow cytometry or a quantitative image analysis system. Cells are stained and their histologic organization is evaluated, including structure, composition, and function. A quantitative or semiquantitative test is done for tumor immunohistochemistry, such as the Her-2/neu receptor. Immunostaining involves adding a dilution with the primary antibody to the receptor protein and incubating. Counterstaining with secondary antibodies is performed to visualize antibody location
