Question:

Why should codes 88362 and 88380-88381 not be billed together on the same date of service?

Answer:

Based on NCCI edits, do not bill 88362 and 88380–88381 (laser and manual micro-dissection) on the same date of service for processing and examination of the same specimen. Note that code 88362 is the comprehensive code.
