What is the date range regarding test orders initiated for stored specimens?
Answer:
Stored specimens are surgically collected specimens with test orders initiated at least 14-30 days following the patient’s discharge date. This date range of 14-30 days means the stored specimen does not overlap the definition of an archived specimen.
