Question:
If I am only drawing blood, centrifuging the blood and sending the blood to a CLIA-certified laboratory, do I need a CLIA certificate?
Answer:
According to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, you do not need a CLIA certificate if the facility only collects specimens and performs no testing.
