Question:
I have a drug that qualifies as therapeutic but doesn’t meet the requirements for any codes between 80150–80203, what code would I use?
Answer:
Should the drug being coded fall under the classification of therapeutic and not be defined by the codes 80150–80203, the next option is 80299.
