Your Trusted Safe Harbor in the 2026 Coding Storm: Unlock Expert Guidance for Unprecedented Success With Lower Extremity Angiography and Interventions

A storm of economic uncertainty is looming over 2026, and you can’t afford to navigate the complexities without professional guidance for coding and compliance. With waves of coding changes for lower extremity revascularization procedures, professionals who walk into 2026 without expert insight will face a rising flood of costly new challenges.

Delivering guidance on coding for lower extremity angiography and interventions, this webcast aims to offer clear insights and practical examples related to angioplasty, atherectomy, lithotripsy, infusion therapy, and intravascular stenting for both arterial and venous procedures. The session includes comprehensive explanations of the procedures, associated code selections, and how these choices vary depending on the specific approach used. Strengthened by examples, case studies, and anatomical diagrams, attendees will gain confidence in accurately coding for lower extremity procedures.

Unlock an expert agenda for pro accuracy in 2026:

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the sweeping CPT®/HCPCS code changes for lower extremity revascularization procedures (deletion of current codes with addition of 46 new codes plus revision to the territories), the most significant overhaul in a decade.
  • Lower extremity angiography
    • Lower extremity vessels, additional selective vessels after the initial study/exam, selective and non-selective pelvic vessels, abdominal aorta, etc.
    • Overview of CPT codes and how they relate to procedures, anatomy and key phrases to look for in documentation
  • Lower extremity interventional procedures
    • Arterial and venous with review of anatomy, procedures and corresponding code choices for:
      • Angioplasty, stenting, lithotripsy, embolization, thrombolytic therapy, thrombectomy, atherectomy
    • Lower extremity revascularization
  • Imaging guidance – when it can and cannot be separately reported
  • Case examples and scenarios with key phrases to look for in documentation
  • Answers to frequently asked questions and, time permitting, answers to attendee questions

Note: Before participating in this session, we recommend that you attend our Basics of Interventional Radiology Coding webcast, which covers general IR coding essentials.
