Can code 34718 be reported for the placement of an IBE for non-rupture?
Unlike code +34717, which may be used to define the placement of an IBE for non-rupture or rupture, code 34718 is exclusively reported when an IBE is placed for non-rupture situations. If a stand-alone IBE is placed for rupture, assign unlisted procedure code 37799.
