Would a spine jack kypho only be performed in the hospital setting (IP or OP)? Have you seen it performed in the imaging global centers?
Spine jack kyphoplasty is reported with the same kyphoplasty codes used for non-spine jack procedures, 22513-22515. As of 2023, ASCs should report HCPCS codes C7507 or C7508 for thoracic and lumbar kyphoplasty in place if 22513-22515 as It allows for additional payment for normally packaged services. Ensure to apply C1062 to the claim line item charge for the spinejack implant, with allows for additional pass-through payment for the device at this time.
