What code do I report for the removal of a biliary drainage catheter requiring fluoroscopic guidance?
Answer:
When the removal of a biliary drainage catheter requires fluoroscopic guidance, such as when there is also an indwelling stent that must be avoided, the removal is reported with code 47537.
