Can we still use 0508T to report pulse-echo ultrasound bone density measurement, tibia, when the results yield an indicator of axial bone mineral density in 2024?
Category III code 0508T has been deleted, code 76999 should be reported instead for pulse-echo ultrasound bone density measurement, tibia, resulting in indicator of axial bone mineral density.
