Question:
Should screening mammography be delayed after a recent COVID-19 vaccination?
Answer:
While the Society of Breast Imaging (SBI) originally recommended a delay of four to six weeks after vaccination due to a higher incidence of axillary adenopathy, that directive was rescinded as of February 2022.
