What must a face-to-face clinical evaluation include for polysomnography?


The face-to-face clinical evaluation must include, at a minimum:

  • the patient’s sleep history and symptoms
  • an Epworth sleepiness scale, and
  • a physical examination that documents body mass index, neck circumference, and a focused cardiopulmonary and upper airway evaluation.
