Question:

What codes are used for reporting EEGs that are routine and what is the recording minute range for 2024?

Answer:

Codes 95816, 95819, and 95822 are considered “routine” EEGs, which, on average, include 20-40 minutes of recording. These codes include hyperventilation and/or photic stimulation when appropriate.
