For pulmonary rehabilitation in regards to COVID-19, what modifier would we use if the hospital has relocated the PBD without applying for an extraordinary circumstances relocation request?
Answer:
If the hospital has relocated the PBD without applying for an extraordinary circumstances relocation request, the hospital must bill for non-excepted services provided in the patient’s using modifier –PN, for non-excepted PBD location.
