Question:

Does left heart catheterization for congenital heart defects include a left atrial angiography when performed?

Answer:

Left heart catheterization for congenital heart defects does not include left ventricular or a left atrial angiography when performed. Left ventriculography or left atrial angiography performed during cardiac catheterization for congenital heart defects is separately reported with 93565.
