Can we use the new 2023 heart/coronary codes for outpatient hospitals?

Answer:

Note that new 2023 heart/coronary codes (C7516–C7528) include IVUS, FFR, or lower extremity angiograms in the ASC setting. These codes are not to be used for outpatient hospitals as they are not recognized.
