Question:

Can we report 88112 with 88108?

Answer:

Do not report 88112 with 88108. Code 88112 includes cellular enhancement techniques combining concentration with enrichment of nongynecological cytology specimens. Do not bill the concentration separately using 88108. When only cytospin preparation without cellular enhancement is performed, 88108 is reported.
