Radiology Question for the Week of December 18, 2017

Question:

What is the ICD-10-CM code for lymphoma of the breast?

Answer:

Ideally, you should ask the provider for more specific information, but if this is all you have, the lymphoma diagnosis codes start at C81. With the only information of “lymphoma of the breast,” you would assign the following code:

C85.99 Non-Hodgkin lymphoma, unspecified, extranodal and solid organ sites
