Ancillary services are generally defined as additional or supporting services provided by a hospital to a patient during the patient’s hospital stay. These services include, but are not limited to, laboratory, respiratory therapy, radiology, drugs, labor & delivery, surgery or endoscopy, postoperative recovery room, and other special items and services.
