In a follow-up to last week’s question do any exceptions exist for billing complex drugs for chemotherapy administration?
Answer:
Some exceptions are newly created temporary codes (HCPCS C codes) that represent chemotherapy or highly complex drug or biological. This is not an all-inclusive list of drugs that may be reported with code range (96401–96417).
